If I Could Have One More Conversation With My Dad

Dear Fathers,

If I could have one more conversation with my dad, I would start by saying something funny just to make him laugh. 😂 Then I’d ask him what experiences in his life caused him to be so serious at times. Dad was a serious dude!

To all fathers: thank you for every early morning practice, every difficult conversation, every lesson about integrity, every hug, every sacrifice, and every moment you chose to stay engaged when life was demanding.

Your presence matters more than you know. Children may not always say it, but they are watching, learning, and carrying your influence into the future.

Enjoy Father’s Day with your family. And if you’re fortunate enough to still have your father here, give him a hug. 🫂

Happy Father’s Day to fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, mentors, and all the men who have helped guide the next generation.

If you’re raising a son—or love someone who is—I invite you to explore my book, Fathers & Sons: Raising Boys Through Dinosaurs, Testosterone & Girls. It’s filled with practical insights, encouragement, and real-world guidance for navigating the journey of raising boys into strong, responsible men.

Happy Father’s Day! 💜
