Now That I have Time to Think

To all of my planners, this blog is for you. Actually whether you plan or not, this is for you – my entrepreneur wives and mothers who have had to make drastic changes to the way they live and run their life and their business because of COVID-19.

Oh heck…

That’s all of us…

If you an early riser like me, you get up while the house is quiet 🤫 and you plan your day. You might pray, meditate or exercise too. This is your time to think about where you want to go with your life, your dreams, your kids, your marriage, your business.

For me, this shelter-in-place time has given me a different perspective because I’ve had to stay still for longer than 15 minutes. Instead of being out and meeting with people, I’ve attended online meetings and had “thinking time”. And anytime I quiet my thoughts and slow down, I get to do the possible

I plan where I want to be next. I think about relationships I want to cultivate, and I think about people and projects that I can move away from and let alone.

Having time to myself in the morning before anyone calls or texts me is part of my morning routine. It has changed my life because my super power – intuition speaks to me and gives great advice! Advice that I never hear when my life is busy and I’m listening to others tell me where they think I should focus my time and energy. 🤯

I challenge you to practice taking time with yourself every day. Try it even if you’re not a morning person. It will change your life.

I talk about this and other life saving, re-energizing techniques that make you feel good about yourself in my online course – How to Love Yourself in 30 Days.
